We begin with your project: where the work will be used, its scale and the atmosphere it should convey. I develop an original painting for an interior, screen setting or costume, individual or brand. Handover, delivery and any on-site installation are agreed in advance.

SIZE & INSTALLATION
From the brief to the installed artwork.
All paintings are made to commission. The works shown illustrate the artist’s practice; the size, palette and installation of each new painting are developed around your brief.
A format shaped by the space
I often work at 100 × 100 and 110 × 110 cm. Rectangular and other large compositions are developed for the setting and brief; larger formats are discussed individually.
An original response to your brief
We begin with the space, story or character, then agree the size, palette and atmosphere. I paint a new original directly onto silk, entirely freehand.
International delivery
By arrangement, I can personally bring the finished painting in a tube, without a bulky frame. Transport and handover are planned for the particular work and destination.
On-site stretching and installation
I can stretch the silk on site into a frame you have chosen and prepared. Local frame production can also be arranged. We agree the frame, timing and scope of personal installation in advance.
